Hello! My name is Melissa. I'm 14 years old and from saskatchewan canada.
I've lived in sask all my life and desperatley want to get out! :)
I live on a farm out in the sticks. I'm not very close to many cities.
I've been a christian since i was nine years (I think) old. But haven't really done anything about it until this past year.
I'm not raised in a christian home.

Is Christianity the right way?

Well is it? I'm not really sure about that...I mean I do believe in God and Jesus and everything.
But there is so many hypocritical christians and those who give us trying to be good christians
a bad name. So I've decided to drop anything that has to do with religion. Religion has a great basis too it
You know the whole God thing. But the church that I go to doesn't teach it right. At least I don't think so.
I normally go to a Luthern Church (about once a year) I went last year when I was confirmed and this year for one of my friends confirmations.
Before I got confirmed I wasn't a true believer in Jesus and I really didn't want to be a christian. And I went to church for the first time
since i "reformed" my life and realized I hate organized religion.
Not the songs or anything like that but just the fact that you "confirm" you faith in the church
and not your faith in God. For some reason that didn't make any sense at all!
So now I don't and more or less won't go to church and don't want to have anything to do with religion though a youth group would be nice. Soo I have given up on being "religious" and being a christian. Now what do I do?
I am trying to find out "Who I Am" I'm reading Conversations With God By Donald somebody and in it God tells us that real hell is not learning who you are what your sould really wants to be. So I'm trying to figure out Who I Am and what my soul really wants to be

My Favorite music

Generally I listen to christian rock. But I listen to country and lotsa other rock. I hate the white guy that thinks he's pretty fly song (I'll never call it by it's real name FYI) and I don't really like Matchbox20 even though I used to love them. They have a lot of talent and they should use it for the Lord! I love Jars Of Clay and Delirious? Jenifer Knapp is really good too. Actually I like just about everything on the WOW '99 Green Disc. I also really really love the song by Kirk Franklin "Lean On Me" what a great powerful song. Dc Talk is pretty cool and the newsboys sound pretty great too! I really like "Anything Genuine" by The Smalltown Poets. And "What Would Jesus Do" by Big Tent Revival is Phenomanal! (sp??) Veggie Tales rule!!! And right now another one of my favorite songs is "To Know You" by Nicole Nordeman. It's an awesome song!!
